IUL online university offers students educational activities that fully fall within the scope of the course of study with practical activities carried out in affiliated structures. Within the study courses, curricular internships are foreseen. These are activated in compliance with the University Regulations, the Ministerial Decree no. 509 of 1999 and of the Ministerial Decree no. 270 of 2004, and are aimed at completing the course of study, thus contributing to the acquisition of the ECTS credits necessary for the achievement of the Degree.

The Academic office promotes and supports the activation of curricular internships regulated by the individual regional regulations and aimed at facilitating the professional choices and the employability of IUL students and graduates. The same provides for the formalization, in synergy with all the courses of study, of training internships, through special agreements stipulated pursuant to the Ministerial Decree no. 142 of 1998.

As part of the curricular internships, the Academic office acts in accordance with:

• Art. 27 of Presidential Decree no. 382 of 1980 which allows universities to enter into agreements with public or private bodies and institutions in order to make use of equipment and logistic services outside the university for carrying out supplementary educational activities to university ones, aimed at completing academic and professional training;
• Art. 8, paragraph 1, of Law no. 341 of 19 November 1990, concerning the reform of the teaching regulations which allows universities to make use of the collaboration of public and private subjects for the realization of the courses of studies;
• in order to facilitate professional choices through direct knowledge of the world of work and create opportunities of study and work alternation in the context of training processes, the subjects referred to in art. 18, paragraph 1, letter a) of law no. 196 of 24 June 1997, can promote training and orientation internships, related to the specific course of study, in public and private bodies and institutions for the benefit of those who have already completed compulsory education pursuant to Law no. 1859 of 31 December 1962.

Moreover, we remind you that IUL university makes available to the student the possibility of entering into new agreements with structures chosen by the same, upon completion and presentation of the appropriate forms.
